I am a Chartered and Registered Physiotherapist who specialises in working with Adults who have had an acquired brain injury. I use an evidence based approach in my rehabilitation and am informed by current clinical guidelines.

I trained at St Georges Hospital Medical School/Kingston University and qualified in 2004 with a BSc (Hons) in Physiotherapy. My early career was spent in the Acute Hospital Sector within the National Health Service (NHS) working in a wide variety of disciplines such as Medical, Orthopaedic, Neurology, Elderly rehab and Outpatient Physiotherapy. After 3 years within the Acute sector, I moved into the Community Rehabilitation setting within the London Borough of Greenwich and spent the rest of my NHS career working as a Rotational Community Physiotherapist for 4 years before settling into a Neuro Rehabilitation role within their Community Rehabilitation Team for 6 years working as a Senior Physiotherapist as part of a multidisciplinary team of clinicians.

In July 2017, I moved to Thanet and took a career break then returned as an independent physiotherapist to my profession in May 2019 as Neuro Physio Thanet. I have since served a local population but with an ever expanding remit also spent in areas outside of Thanet, delivering rehabilitation to people in their homes and various care home settings throughout East Kent.
